Our Mission
Hamilton Junior Women's League was established in 1946 to serve women & children of Butler County, Ohio
The Hamilton Junior Women’s League (HJWL) is a community service organization comprised of women
who live around the greater Hamilton, Ohio area. League membership consists of a variety of dedicated,
smart, and fun women with the common goal of supporting one another through friendship, and supporting our community through service and fundraising.
Over the years, HJWL has contributed more than $600,000 to various community organizations as well
as provided countless hours of service. The primary organization that we support, and helped found, is
PARACHUTE: Butler County CASA. Additional organizations we have supported include, but are certainly not limited to, Boys and Girls Club, Serve City, Helping Hamilton Ministries, YMCA, Young Lives, Family Promise, the Caring Closet, Center for Family Solutions, etc.
PARACHUTE is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing trained community volunteers to children who are in the Juvenile Court system due to abuse, neglect or abandonment; these volunteers are willing to take a stand for the county's most vulnerable children. The CASA concept is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home, as soon as possible.
Since 1988, CASA volunteers have helped over 2,800 Butler County children find safe, permanent homes by recruiting, training and supervising over 608 concerned community members to serve Butler County Juvenile Court as Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteers. CASA volunteers have attended 7,948 court hearings to speak up for the best interest of local abused and neglected children.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower women and children by funding programs that provide essential support, education, and resources. Through our annual 5K race, we aim to foster community engagement and raise funds that support our mission - including Butler County PARACHUTE.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every woman and child has access to the resources they need to thrive. The heart of our 5K is to connect our community to our mission - and in turn - support women & children in our county.
